Local Awareness & Bookings Without the Burnout

Stephanie Buckingham runs a family friendly home-based salon in Townsville. Juggling two young children and with limited availability, she wasn’t seeking rapid growth or overwhelming demand—but she did want to attract a reliable, steady stream of local clients. Like many small business owners, Stephanie felt the pressure to post constantly on social media, but found the effort draining, exhausting, and ultimately unsustainable over time.

We developed a simple, low-effort Facebook ad strategy designed specifically to raise brand awareness and generate genuine local enquiries without relying on frequent content creation and constant check in. The campaign featured warm, relatable messaging targeted directly at local mums—emphasizing the salon’s affordability, flexible scheduling, and welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Additionally, we explored easy offline marketing methods by designing an eye-catching poster with a QR code to place on local community notice boards.

The result was a steady, manageable flow of messages from potential clients, allowing Stephanie to fill her calendar on her own terms and maintain balance—without needing to spend extra hours glued to her phone or stressed about constant posting.
