Local Awareness & Bookings Without the Burnout
Stephanie Buckingham runs a home-based salon in Townsville. With two young children and limited availability, she wasn’t aiming for rapid growth—but she did want to attract a steady stream of local clients. Like many small business owners, Stephanie felt pressure to post constantly on social media, but found it draining and unsustainable.
We developed a low-effort Facebook ad strategy designed to raise brand awareness and generate local enquiries without the need for regular content creation. The campaign featured warm, relatable messaging targeted specifically at local mums—highlighting the salon’s affordability, flexibility, and family-friendly feel. We also looked at some easy ways to market to the local community through notice boards by designing a poster with a QR code.
The result being a steady flow of messages from potential clients, allowing Stephanie to fill her calendar on her own terms—without spending more time on her phone.
